Many people are searching for a way to lose weight quickly. They have heard of the three day diet and want a copy of it. I have a copy of the three day diet listed below. However, learning how to eat healthy for the long-term is much better for your body than crash yo-yo dieting.
The 3 Day Diet is a fad diet where you follow the diet exactly for three days, then eat normal for four or five days then diet again for 3 days. The claim is that you will lose up to 10 pounds in three days. If you do, the weight loss is likely due to fluid loss and not fat loss.
The three day diet has to be followed precisely. No overeating or eating less. Another downfall of the diet is that it does not include exercise.
Three Day Diet meal plan:

The idea of returning to your usual eating after the third day is to keep your metabolism from slowing down, reverting to fat-storing, starvation mode.
I remember trying something like this many years ago. This diet started circulating around 1985. But who wants to eat like this all the time? Not me. I get tired of plain tuna after the first serving.
I have found what works for me. I lost 30 pounds and I have kept it off now for over four months. I eat what I want within reason, and I don’t go hungry. I started out having an Herbalife shake with extra protein powder for breakfast. Sometimes I had 1/4 cup of fruit with my shake, sometimes as a mid-morning snack. I had two cups of Herbalife hot tea. I had another shake for lunch. I had an Herbalife protein bar or soy nuts for an afternoon snack, and then I ate a healthy dinner.
Now that I am in maintenance mode, I have a shake for breakfast. Fruit for a mid-morning snack. I either have a peanut butter sandwich on 12-grain bread for lunch, or I have leftovers from the night before. I have an afternoon snack of either fruit, protein bar, soy nuts or a couple of whole grain crackers with a tiny bit of peanut butter. I eat a regular dinner. On weekends, I often eat three regular meals. If I overeat or the scale starts climbing, I cut back my portions, or have a shake for breakfast and lunch. I love the shakes.
